Emigration Interpretation Centre ‘Casa Ángel Castro’.

The Emigration Interpretation Centre, known as ‘Casa Ángel Castro’, is a place of homage and reflection on the history of Galician emigration to America, especially to Cuba. Located in Láncara, the birthplace of Ángel Castro, Fidel Castro’s father, this centre preserves the experiences, dreams and struggles of the thousands of Galicians who crossed the ocean in search of a better future. It is also a symbol of the historical and cultural ties that still unite us.
